The Kush Nurse was born out of a need to help others navigate the often confusing information related to cannabis for health and wellness.
I knew that plant medicine had significant value and benefits and I wanted others to know.
I’ve helped hundreds of women and families start their wellness journey with plant medicine and take control of their lives and health.
I came to cannabis medicine after battling with pain, depression and chronic health issues. I struggled to find accurate information. Was CBD helpful? Did I need the THC? Was cannabis safer than traditional medications? Would I get addicted? Would I lose my job? So many questions and all of them led me down a multitude of rabbit holes.
As a nurse I became engrossed in researching cannabis and reading all the data I could find. My doctors prescribed several pharmaceuticals and they all had crappy effects. I was in pain, exhausted and dragged myself through the day to day. When I did take the pills the doctors provided, I couldn’t control the side effects. The pain meds made me crash. My family needed me and I didn’t have the energy to show up. I wanted to feel alive again.
I took matters into my own hands and started my cannabis journey.
Over the last 4 years, I’ve used plant medicine and other wellness tools to heal my chronic pain, anxiety and depression. The positive effects of cannabis medicine have helped me have more days filled with joy and less pain, enjoy time and be more present with my family, increase my stamina and endurance and ultimately I was able to lose over 40 lbs.
