Autoimmune Conditions and Cannabis

What does the science state?

Last month I was honored to represent, Cannabis Nurses of Color during a live discussion with Minorities for Medical Marijuana. The topic of discussion was autoimmune disorders that affect black and brown communities and the benefits of cannabis to help with these conditions.

Listen in as we discuss the research, science, and nuance of cannabis medicine to help manage autoimmune conditions. Some of the conditions include multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, fibromyalgia, and irritable bowel syndrome. There have been such promising results in the use of cannabinoid therapy and it’s no wonder why women particularly; women of color are wanting to learn more about cannabis for their health and wellness.

On a recent episode of How to Do the Pot, I shared a bit more about lupus and autoimmune conditions. Take a listen.

Want to share your thoughts on cannabis for autoimmune conditions? Let me know in the comments below. Have you tried cannabis for autoimmune conditions or know someone who has? What were the results?

99% of the people I speak with have no idea they have an ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM. The entire role of this system is to maintain balance in our bodies. When we are out of balance due to stress, diet and other factors our body welcomes disease, inflammation and more.

Yes cannabis is medicine but it works because we have this system that responds and interacts with the plant. It also produces compounds similar to THC and CBD.

I made a quick video you can download about this system. 🙃https://bit.ly/ECSbasics
